90 points, Wine Advocate, December 2012: "Fall Line’s 2010 Artz Vineyard—a blend of 39% Cabernet Franc; 39% Merlot; and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 30% new wood, from a vineyard of evident distinction that I need to visit—features fresh mulberry infused with black tea, mint, black pepper, machine oil and crushed stone. With a subtly satisfying chew of tannin and juicy extension, its herbal and iodine finishing accents lend this a slightly medicinal aura. I suspect that this most successful of the three Fall Line Artz bottlings that I’ve tasted will prove a welcome tonic at table for at least the next 4-5 years."

90 points, Wine Spectator, May 31, 2014: "Vibrant, fresh and herbal, with a lithe frame, offering flavors of red fruit against flashes of sage and thyme, persisting on the finish. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2018."

91 points, Wine Advocate , December 2012: "Fall Line’s 2010 Boushey Vineyard—40% Merlot; 34% Cabernet Franc; 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, matured in nearly-half new barrels—is alluringly scented with bittersweet floral perfume, smoky black tea, and an alliance of dark berries with nut oils and iodine such as can be found in many of their other bottlings as well. There is a luscious and at the same time airy and open character on the palate, with ample primary juiciness and an alliance of salinity and lentil sprout-like bitter nuttiness adding stimulation to a satisfyingly long finish. I suspect this exceptional value will be worth following for a good half dozen years, if not longer."

92 points, Wine Advocate, December 2012: "Fall Line’s 2010 Red Willow Vineyard—from 38% Cabernet Franc; 36% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Sauvignon all aged in just over a third new oak—steps up the virtues found in the other wines I tasted on this first exposure to their style. High-toned mint, sage, and bittersweet floral essences garland nut oils with fresh and distilled dark berries. Hints of crushed stone and iodine as well as the bitter edge to berry and nut flavors on a finely tannic, generously juicy and pungent palate make for a complex impression, at once metaphorically dark and somber, yet in its sustained finish, vibrant and animating. This terrific value beautifully showcases its justly renowned vineyard of origin and ought to continue doing so for at least half a dozen more years."

90 points, Wine Spectator, May 31, 2014: "Smooth and plush in texture, with expressive cherry and raspberry notes, hinting at cocoa as the finish lingers against refined tannins. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2018."

90 points, Wine Advocate, December 2012: "Cassis, cedar, juniper berry and dark tobacco scent Fall Line’s mono-cepage 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon then reconvene on a sappy, broad, finely tannic palate, with suggestions of huckleberry adding to the piquancy of a vigorously persistent finish. This ought to be worth following for at least 4-5 years."

89 points, Wine Advocate, December 2012: "Combining fruit from all of their otherwise featured vineyard sources, and 5% Tempranillo with roughly equal parts of the three main Bordelais cepages, Fall Line’s 2010 Exhibition smells of cassis, sealing wax, and nut oils. Juicy and persistent, its bitter aspects enhanced by an impression of huckleberry, this fine value and ideal introduction to the winery’s house style ought to prove versatile over the next several years."
