- 93 points and Editors' Choice, Wine Enthusiast, June/July 2021: "Merlot (64%) and Cabernet Franc (33%) are the stars here, with Cabernet Sauvignon playing a bit role. There’s subtlety to the aromas of flowers, herbs, flowers, earth and raspberry. The palate shows captivating purity to the flavors along with a lovely sense of texture. It’s flat-out gorgeous and all about subtlety."

- 93 points and Editors' Choice, Wine Enthusiast, June/July 2021: "The heart of this wine is Cabernet Franc (73%), with the rest near equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of cherry, crushed flowers and herbs draw you into the glass, showing nuances and purity. The palate delivers on all that promise, showing elegance, layering and texture. It shows plenty of purity, hanging on the finish."

- 89+ points, Wine Advocate, October 2021: "The 2018 Cirque is a blend of 73% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, the wine displays lovely red fruit aromas with elements of cherry skin, dusty red flowers, violets and hints of baked earth. Medium to full-bodied, the palate unpacks layers of black raspberry, redcurrant and crème de cassis before ending with a delightfully lingering finish and persistent flavors of graphite and bitter dark chocolate."

- 91 points, Wine Enthusiast, February/March 2022: "This is 100% varietal, with fruit coming from Dineen and Two Blondes vineyards. There’s appeal to the aromas of mortared herbs, fresh cherry, pink peppercorn and green pepper. The palate is pretty and polished, with a sumptuous feel."

- 90 points, Wine Advocate, October 2021: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Vertical is an instant success with beautiful aromas of turned earth, black raspberry, graphite, cigar box and dried herbs and flowers that waft from the nose. Medium to full-bodied, the palate initially shows just-ripe fruit and succulent acidity then shifts complex layers that peel away to reveal fine-grained tannins. The wine concludes with a lingering finish, showcasing a smaller-framed Cabernet that will remain food-friendly until its 10th birthday."
